CueSeal is a video engineering lab in the literal sense: research and development, questions, experiments, records, published results. It is also the professional portfolio of its founding director, and the site says so plainly. Direction follows what is worth working out, not where the industry is making money this year.

Both are true at once. The research is real. It belongs to a person, and the record shows who did the work.

Hello, everyone. My name is Mark Jared. I live in Los Angeles, CA with my wife and our dog. I am a lifelong multimedia technologist who has worked in various fields in the AV and IT industry. I have built smart homes, home studios, and integrated media systems for professional healthcare facilities and Fortune 500 companies like Procter & Gamble. I have also worked for several startups, and led AVoIP and AI efforts for local news outlets.

My current focus, and the inspiration behind CueSeal, is to keep demonstrating a real use case for AI in media ecosystems, and to drive AVoIP and SDVoE development using cloud, ML, open source tools, and open weight models.

I believe in building media technology that works for everyone, and building for emerging decentralized new media platforms and markets. While CueSeal also acts as my personal work portfolio, I am passionate about building this platform into an open project for any and all media junkies and collaborators. I would love to hear from you.

That describes how the work runs here, and it is also one of the things the research tests: does the rule hold, or does it slip the first time nobody is watching?
